# Welcome to FixAEO

> Track how AI models answer questions about your brand.

FixAEO shows you where AI models mention your brand, and where they name someone else instead.

FixAEO is an AI search analytics tool. It runs the questions your customers ask into nine AI engines on a schedule. Then it records three things: whether you were named, which competitors were named instead, and which websites the engine cited to build its answer.

## How does FixAEO get its data?

You give it a list of prompts, which are the questions your customers actually ask. FixAEO runs each prompt against each AI engine on a schedule and stores what came back. Every AI visibility number is counted from those stored answers, not estimated from traffic data.

Because the answers are stored, you also get history. You can see the week a competitor first appeared, or the week a source stopped citing you.

## Which AI engines does FixAEO track?

Nine of them: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, DeepSeek, Grok, AI Overviews, and AI Mode.

Your plan decides how many you get. Lite and Growth scan six engines: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, AI Overviews, and AI Mode. Enterprise scans all nine. The full matrix is on [Plans and limits](/plans-and-limits).

<Note>
  The free plan runs no scheduled scans. You can finish setup and pick prompts, but numbers stay empty until you're on a paid tier.
</Note>

## What you get here that you don't get elsewhere

**A free plan.** One brand and three tracked prompts. Scheduled scans start on a paid plan.

**A Chrome extension.** Check a site's AI visibility from your browser without opening the dashboard. See [Chrome extension](/integrations/chrome-extension).

**Agent analytics.** AI crawlers like GPTBot and ClaudeBot don't run JavaScript, so normal analytics never sees them. FixAEO reads your server logs instead and shows you which pages those crawlers actually fetched. See [Agent analytics](/agent-analytics).

**An MCP server.** Point your own ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor at your FixAEO data and ask it questions directly. See [MCP server](/mcp/introduction).

**Industry benchmarks.** Your share of voice against every brand the engines mention in your category, not just the rivals you thought to add. See [Industry benchmarks](/industry).

If you'd rather start with the vocabulary, read the [Metrics overview](/metrics-overview) first. It defines Visibility Score, share of voice, position, and sentiment in one page.
